• Swami Vyasanand Ji Maharaj stresses power of satsang, role of true saints

JAMMU: A large number of devotees gathered at Swarn Palace in Miran Sahib on the first day of a two-day Santmat Satsang, creating an atmosphere filled with spiritual fervour, devotion, and collective reflection. The event commenced with a grand and vibrant procession, attracting enthusiastic participation from followers and local residents, setting a deeply devotional tone for the congregation.

The spiritual assembly was led by Param Pujya Brahmnishtha, Taponishtha Swami Vyasanand Ji Maharaj, who arrived from Maharshi Mehi Brahm Vidyapeeth, Haridwar. His presence drew an overwhelming turnout of devotees eager to listen to his teachings and seek guidance for a more meaningful and spiritually aligned life.

Following the procession, the satsang discourse began, wherein Swami Vyasanand Ji Maharaj elaborated in depth on the true essence and transformative power of satsang. He explained that satsang is not merely a gathering, but a sacred opportunity to connect with truth, wisdom, and higher consciousness. He stressed that in today’s fast-paced and materialistic world, where distractions and negativity often dominate, satsang serves as a guiding light that helps individuals remain grounded in values, discipline, and inner peace.

Drawing references from holy and religious scriptures, Swami Ji highlighted that following true saints has always been emphasized as a path to spiritual awakening and self-realization. He explained that scriptures consistently guide individuals to seek the company of enlightened beings, as they possess the wisdom and experience to lead others out of ignorance, confusion, and suffering. According to him, saints act as living embodiments of spiritual teachings, helping individuals understand complex truths through simple guidance and practical examples.

He further underlined that true saints play a crucial role in shaping human character and consciousness. Their presence inspires individuals to adopt virtues such as compassion, humility, truthfulness, and self-discipline. By walking in the path shown by such enlightened souls, individuals can overcome inner conflicts, control negative tendencies, and gradually progress towards a life of purpose and clarity.

Swami Vyasanand Ji Maharaj also emphasized that satsang has the power to purify thoughts and elevate the mind. Regular participation in such spiritual gatherings, he said, strengthens faith, instills positivity, and fosters a sense of unity and harmony among people. He noted that even a brief association with true saints can leave a lasting impact on one’s life, encouraging individuals to introspect and transform themselves for the better.

The gathering witnessed deep engagement, with devotees listening attentively to every word of the discourse. Many expressed that the teachings offered a renewed sense of direction and inner strength, helping them reconnect with spiritual values in their daily lives. The event will continue on the second day with further discourses and devotional activities, and organizers anticipate an even larger participation as the message of spiritual awakening and the importance of satsang continues to resonate widely among the masses.
