• DC inaugurates the camp, appreciates MVD & Health for the initiative

SHOPIAN: A free medical camp, ‘Parwah’ or ‘Care’ was organised today by the Motor Vehicles Department, Shopian in collaboration with the Health Department for the drivers of district Shopian at Batapora Stand, Shopian. The camp was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar in the presence of ARTO, Shopian. The DC appreciated the initiative taken by departments, showcasing the administration's commitment to providing much needed medical screening for the vital section of our society.

Such events demonstrate the efforts being taken to promote healthcare and wellness in the district, said Shahid Saleem. The medical camp aimed to provide comprehensive health check-ups and medical facilities to the members of the transport sector. MVD & Health Departments have been regularly conducting the Medical Camps in the district for the transporters of the district in order to provide the services of free healthcare to them.
