KATRA: NSS SMVDU volunteers organized wall painting event at Mansar Lake and beautify the surrounding area of the lake with creative painting and rangoli making on the pathway of the lake. Around 35 volunteers worked sincerely in this campaign and painted creative work on the lake theme.

Different kinds of fishes, tortoises and other water bodies were drawn by the volunteers during the event. Poetic sentences were also written on the wall on the lake theme. NSS student coordinators Sadhvi Sharma and Abhishek Sharma led the whole event.

NSS Programme coordinator Dr. Rajiv Kumar was also present during the painting event. Volunteers worked for around 8 hours during a span of 2 days for this activity. Tourists and locals visiting the lake appreciated the efforts and creativity of the volunteers during the campaign. The event was the part of the 7 days special camp of the NSS unit of the University at Mansar.
