BARAMULLA: In a proud and patriotic event, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, inaugurated a 105-feet-tall Indian National Flag at the DC Office premises, today. The ceremony was attended by Commandant CRPF 53 Battalion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Joint Director Planning and other senior officers and officials. A ceremonial Guard of Honor was presented by the contingents of the 112 Naga Battalion, adding dignity and splendor to the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, DC highlighted the National Flag's significance as a symbol of India's unity, sovereignty, and pride. He appreciated the Municipal Council Baramulla for taking the initiative to install this monumental flag, which stands as an emblem of national pride and civic spirit. The event concluded with the unfurling of the flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, creating an atmosphere of unity and reverence. The 105-feet-high flag serves as a beacon of Baramulla’s dedication to the values of patriotism and national integrity.
