SRINAGAR: The Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) Vice President and the Mechanical Irrigation Employees Federation (MIEF) Patron Farooq Ahmad Khan express profound grief over the sad demise of Renowned Businessman Manzoor Ahmad Baba, was the nephew of Greater Kashmir Editor-In-Chief Fayaz Kaloo, Mirror of Kashmir Editor-In-Chief Ghulam Hassan Kaloo, and Dr. Farooq Ahmad Kaloo.
Manzoor Ahmad Baba, a resident of Nallabal Nowshera, Srinagar, was the brother of a Senior Assistant Officer in the Mechanical Irrigation Department. He was also the son of late Assadullah Baba, a respected employee of the Mechanical Irrigation and Flood Control Department. The family has a longstanding association with the department, with his late father having served there and his sister continuing this legacy by working in the same department.
A delegation led by EJAC Vice President and MIEF Patron Farooq Ahmad Khan visited the bereaved family at their residence in Nallabal Nowshera. The delegation included General Secretary Farooq Ahmad Shalmari, Vice President Naseer Ahmad Nahvi, District President Srinagar Bilal Ahmad Bhat, Chief Spkoesperson Farooq Malik, Press Secretary Shabir Ahmad Khan, Retired Farooq Ahmad Zargar and other members, who conveyed their heartfelt condolences and solidarity to the grieving family.
In his condolence message, EJAC Vice President Farooq Ahmad Khan said "The ultimate demise of Manzoor Ahmad Baba has left a deep void in the hearts of his family and the community. We stand with the Baba and Kaloo families during this painful time, offering our unwavering support and prayers for the departed soul."
The Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) also expressed its heartfelt condolences on this tragic loss, standing in solidarity with the bereaved family and praying for the eternal peace of the departed soul. "The family were neighbors of EJAC Vice President Farooq Ahmad Khan during their time in Saraf Kadal. They later moved to Nallabal Nowshera, Srinagar. The late Manzoor Baba was a close friend of mine, and I am deeply saddened by his passing."
The delegation extended their prayers for Jannat-ul-Firdous for the departed soul and offered their sympathies for the earlier loss of late Assadullah Baba. They acknowledged the family's significant contributions to the department and the broader community. The entire locality of Nallabal mourns this irreplaceable loss, with hundreds gathering to pay their respects and attend the Nimaz-e-Jinaza.
