RAMBAN: A one-day training session on the newly revamped Civil Registration System (CRS) Portal for Data Entry Operators from various registration units, viz, block development offices, municipal offices and private/government hospitals were held here today under the supervision of District Statistics and Evaluation Officer (DSEO) Ganesh Kumar in coordination with CMO Dr. Kamal Zadoo.
The session aimed to familiarize participants with the updated features and functions of the portal, ensuring efficient and accurate civil registration processes. During the training, the DSEO highlighted that reporting of Birth and Death events on the newly revamped Civil Registration System (CRS) Portal is mandatory within 21 days for all Government and Private Hospitals. Additionally, the process of manually seeking files has been dispensed with, streamlining the entire registration procedure in online mode. Hands-on demonstrations and interactive segments allowed attendees to engage directly with the new system.
The DSEO also emphasized the importance of the updated portal in enhancing service delivery and ensuring timely registration of vital events in District Ramban. Moreover, the training was also attended by Anil Sharma Statistical Officer, Mohammad Tanveer Ur Rehman & Various JSAs and staff members of CMO office, Ramban.
