SRINAGAR: Police in Anantnag observed "Ek Ped Shaheedon Kay Naam" (A Tree in the Name of Martyrs), a heartfelt initiative to honour the sacrifices of Police martyrs while promoting environmental conservation.
Tree plantation drives were conducted at several locations, including the premises of Police Station Kokernag, SDPO Office Kokernag, and near the homes of Martyr HC Fayaz Ahmad Raina and SGCT Manzoor Ahmad Dar. The saplings were planted in memory of these brave officers, paying tribute to their ultimate sacrifices.
This initiative not only serves as a reminder of the courage and commitment of Police personnel who gave their lives in the line of duty but also contributes to creating a greener and more sustainable environment.
