JAMMU: Having lost the confidence and support of the masses, leaders of Congress party are desperately trying to gain public sympathy by flaring up emotional issues, said Dr. Tahir Choudhary. Dr. Tahir Choudhary, Spokesperson, J&K BJP accompanied by Veenu Khanna, Secretary, and Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Media Incharge was addressing the media persons at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Dr. Tahir Choudhary slammed Congress party for raising the issues which are already being addressed by the Modi government. He said that the Congress has lost its base completely in the public and is now desperately trying to flare up the public emotions by doing its divisive politics on certain issues. He reminded the Congress leaders that their party has successfully secured consecutive zeroes in the Assembly elections.
In Jammu & Kashmir, Dr. Tahir said that the Congress party is relying upon the region-based parties for its political survival but still its performance is far from satisfactory and even the Congress party is failing to get the due recognition with the regional parties due to its lackluster performance. He added that in the last Assembly elections in Jammu & Kashmir, the Congress party could score minimum vote count on the crutches of NC infact.
“The Congress Chief Karra is again toeing the line to deceive the people with misleading statements, far from reality,” said Dr. Tahir Choudhary. He said that the Union Ministers led by PM Modi have repeatedly assured that the statehood would be restored at the appropriate time. The time to restore statehood is not in their domain, he reminded Congress and added that it is due to the deeds of Congress, NC, and PDP that the circumstances in the erstwhile state were made worst. He also said that the Congress party to rethink upon its working as he reminded the party that it is losing its ground within the INDI alliance as well.
