KISHTWAR: Deputy Commissioner (DC) R.K Shavan today inspected the proposed site for construction of an Automatic Puzzle-Type Multi-Storey Parking facility in the Kishtwar Town. The project aims at decongesting traffic in the main city.

The proposed project, envisaging a 08 Storey automated parking facility with parking capacity of 240 Vehicles, is expected to significantly ease vehicular congestion and improve urban mobility.

During the site visit near Bun Astan, the DC issued necessary directions to the Mechanical and Hospital Division Kishtwar for the framing and submission of a Detailed Project Report (DPR) at the earliest. Tehsildar Nirbhay Sharma, AEE Mechanical Umar Mushtaq, revenue officials and others were present during the visit.
