RAMBAN: The Traffic Police, NHW under the supervision of SSP (Traffic) NHW Ramban Rohit Baskotra, conducted a week long special drive against the Trucks/Buses fitted with Pressure Horns.  During the special drive, which started on Feb 12, 2025, about 200 Trucks/Buses were challaned and fine to the tune of Rs. 2.00 lakh (Two lac.) was imposed on the Traffic violators. 

The general public and drivers have appreciated the role of Traffic Police, NHW Ramban to curb the menace of Pressure Horns fitted in the vehicles, which is also a great hazardous to common society, especially the students and old aged people. The Truck/Bus operators have been further advised to remove the Pressure Horns immediately fitted in their vehicles and follow the Traffic rules strictly. 

Since, the mission of Traffic Police is to save the precious human lives and reduce the accidents on road. The Truck/Bus operators have been advised to clean their vehicles properly before their journey.

Besides above, the SSP (Traffic) NHW Ramban has also complimented the Traffic Staff involved in the mission and they have been also directed to continue with high degree of sense, responsibility and enthusiasm in future.
