JAMMU: Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Dr. Devansh Yadav today visited the Sabzi Mandi Parade to take stock of the facilities available for vendors and customers. During his visit, he toured the premises of the market, inspecting the available amenities.

The Commissioner interacted with the vendors, who highlighted several issues they are facing, including concerns about sanitation, the need to make the sewerage system functional, repairs for the high-mast lights, water coolers, and drains both within and around the Mandi. The Commissioner directed the concerned to address these issues at the earliest to ensure convenience for both vendors and customers.

Later, the Commissioner also visited the residential accommodation for tenants at the Sabzi Mandi. The tenants requested repairs to the accommodations provided to them. The Commissioner assured that their genuine concerns would be promptly addressed, and he also assured the vendors that necessary repairs to their shops would be carried out soon.
