• 12 Lakh Income, Zero Tax historic Decision by Modi Govt  for the Middle Class

JAMMU: In a landmark move that brings massive relief to the middle class, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that individuals earning up to 12 lakh annually will now be completely exempted from paying income tax.

Aseem Gupta, BJP senior leader & Vice President, Jammu & Kashmir, said this welcoming this historic decision, stating that it reflects the government’s commitment to empowering taxpayers and accelerating economic growth. By significantly raising the tax-free income limit, the Modi government has ensured that hard-working citizens have more financial freedom to invest, save, and spend for a better future.

Aseem Gupta hailed it as a bold and visionary step that will strengthen the financial stability of millions of Indian families. He emphasized that this reform will provide substantial relief to salaried employees, self-employed professionals, and small business owners, allowing them to plan their finances with greater confidence. He further stated that under PM Modi’s leadership, India is witnessing a progressive and taxpayer-friendly economic transformation, making wealth creation easier for every citizen.

This historic tax relief is not just a policy change but a significant step towards 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India) by 2047, ensuring a stronger and more prosperous middle class. The Union Budget 2025-26 reflects the Modi government’s vision of a simpler, fairer, and growth-oriented taxation system, reaffirming its dedication to building a self-reliant and financially empowered India, Aseem said.
