SRINAGAR: The Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) Conducted a cleanliness drive in Zone East, Ward No. 04 specifically in and around JLNM Hospital. This initiative was carried out following the directions of Commissioner SMC, Dr. Owais Ahmed, and was supervised by the Chief Sanitation Officer and Zonal Sanitation Officer, along with dedicated SMC officials.

During this drive, teams worked diligently to remove garbage and clear unwanted grass, leading to a significant improvement in the cleanliness of the hospital. This initiative highlights SMC's steadfast commitment to enhance urban environment and promoting public health and hygiene within the community.

The drive forms a part of the larger "Sunday for Srinagar" initiative, aimed at fostering community participation in maintaining a cleaner and greener city. SMC encourages all residents to take part in these efforts, reinforcing the importance of collective responsibility for the cleanliness of our surroundings.
