KATRA: Dr. Sanjay Mohan, a distinguished faculty member of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), delivered an engaging keynote address at IIT Jammu’s week-long Advanced E-SDP Programme, titled "Empowering Make in India: Nurturing Entrepreneurship in Indian Manufacturing." Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), the event aimed to bolster India’s manufacturing sector by promoting entrepreneurial talent and technological innovation.

In his dual role as acting CEO of the SMVDU Technology Business Incubation Center, Dr. Mohan brought extensive expertise to the workshop. He spoke passionately about the pivotal role of technology in empowering startups, stressing how access to technical know-how and mentorship can transform innovative ideas into sustainable enterprises. “The future of manufacturing lies in nurturing tech-savvy entrepreneurs,” he remarked, inspiring attendees to embrace cutting-edge solutions.
