The generation today on the roads of Kashmir is born confused. The elders have narrated us the confusing stories about our existence after India and Pakistan being partitioned. Historically I may not be so accurate but what a common man believes, that Kashmir was always since its existence a free state and was counted among the countries (Mulk-i-Kashmir). After that in recent past when British colonial power showed its forced rule our India, that time too, a resident of Jammu and Kashmir paid to them a handful of money to not take Jammu and Kashmir under any suppressive and oppressive rule. So it is clear that Jammu and Kashmir has its antique history of being free, liberal and independent state.
After that whatever may have happened since 1931-1990âs was not having any impact on common masses but it was restricted to only few, and they were taken as may have their any vested interest.
But today, what the uprising we observe by huge masses are those youths who not have any financial, economical or any other frustration because I want to make it clear to whole nation and world that a low caste or BPL person of Jammu and Kashmir has at least, his own piece of land not only on which he/she can build a hut for its living but also can make his living from it. The lowest economic holder may have his own property of worth billions, which one could not see such things far-far away in the rest of the nation. Now it seemed surprising, why still they are crying on the roads, the reason is that we are born confused.
Since 90âs we have seen different democracy here than rest of the state. Our democracy is not to start early and not to work late, if anyway someone has started to do so, he either have washed its hands from life or gone missing. Different types of faces we have seen of democracy here in Kashmir, perhaps if such democracy would have been observed by any other state people they would have not only reacted but counter reacted as Kashmir situation is considered by some analyst a â volcanoâ they may have proved âatom bombâ very early.
I am personally jealous, was this freedom except from Jammu and Kashmir, why we have seen soldiers resided in our orchards, playgrounds, beautiful cites, I personally support their guarding at the boarder (LOC) in order to not let infiltration but you may not believe that while in other states of India, I am not keeping my identity card along, but as long as I reached back near the tunnel, I am being asked to reveal my identity and that too in my motherland, yes of course you (security personals) need to check in order to prevent the state from any danger, but they are checking me at those places where a non-sense can understand that this is not the infiltration zone contrary to  that they should be posted on boarder and not be in beautiful barks and parks, enjoying the fresh air and making the people confused.
We being in our homes arenât sure when and how, we will be murdered, because being at our own residence a non resident comes into uniform and with gun and asks, what is your name? what is your father? Etc, surely make us confused.
Another point which I would like to share is that Kashmirâs are being fooled by mainstream parties since 1947. PDP recently in its election campaign came with its agenda that it will put valley away from BJP on behalf that they are communal, anti-Muslims and this PDP while in opposition always went to the homes of martyrs to whom they are called terrorists today. NC party is openly pro India but they too are time to time digging holes that J&K is an international issue and same staunch is of Congress party. They are always showing double stands, in Kashmir they are against Center (Delhi) while in Delhi they are opposite of it.
Is not enough evident that they are responsible who have sown the seeds of confrontation and resistance among the youthâs mind in Kashmir, why they are blaming the separatists who are steadfast on their words since its formation. No country had prospered by suppressing the voices of their oppressors but by giving head and heart to their genuine demands and problems, for this Shakespeare has rightly remarked that â evil is always punished and good is always rewardedâ.
The policy makers responsible holders should take a grave concern regarding the hues and cries of their ruling class and address their concern once for all so that the India as a multi- cultural democratic country may not face such civil disobedience which are severe precautions for the breakage of sovereignty. My humble request is to the Indian democracy maintainers please and please save the born confused and make us realize that we are born clean and clear.
