JAMMU: The Conservator of Forests, West Circle, Rajouri, Mr. Sandeep Kumar, spearheaded a comprehensive fire drill at Sunderbani. The event showcased the latest advancements in firefighting techniques and the utilization of state-of-the-art equipment. Mr. Kumar also emphasized the importance of controlled burning, first aid protocols, and the safe disposal of chir pine needles in forest management practices.
Divisional Forest Officer, Ms. Shweta Deonia, lauded the initiative and stressed the significance of such drills in enhancing forest fire preparedness and response. Dr. Rakesh Verma, Range Forest Officer Sunderbani, along with the dedicated staff of Sunderbani Range, actively participated in the event, demonstrating their commitment to safeguarding the region's precious forest resources.
