BANDIPORA: As part of Drug Awareness Campaign, Physical Education Department, Government Degree College Sumbal today organised an intramural badminton championship. The championship inaugurated by principal GDC Sumbal Shabeena Iqbal Shawl served as a platform to promote healthy living while emphasizing the importance of combating drug abuse.
While interacting with students the principal urged them to participate in games and emphasized the importance of sports to stay away from the curse of drugs. Fourteen players with each team based on two players divided into seven teams participated in the tournament. The players were enthusiastic to show their skills and techniques.
