- Says government to ensure people get requisite facilities

JAMMU: Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood control Ch. Sukhnandan today conducted a surprise visit of the PHE mechanical procurement store at Narwal, Jammu and inspected the material procured for distribution to different districts of the Jammu division. During the visit the Minister was given a detailed account of the materials being procured for augmentation of the PHE infrastructure in the state. It was given out that 836073700 pipes have been distributed upto March and the steps are being taken to distribute the remaining 51180850.

The Minister while interacting with the officers directed them to ensure that the necessary steps are taken at an earliest to ensure the distribution of the materials procured so that necessary augmentation of the PHE sector is done and people get the requisite facilities. He said that it is the endeavor of the government to ensure that people get the requisite facilities and their day to day problems are addressed properly. The Minister also checked the stock register and directed for ensuring punctuality.
