SRINAGAR: In a heartfelt tribute to the brave police martyrs who have sacrificed their precious lives in the line of duty, police in Kulgam under ‘Police Flag Day Week-2024’ organized Run for Unity, cultural and exhibition programmes.
The “Run for Unity” event was flagged off by DySP DAR Kulgam Shri Mohd Shafiq, in which students of various schools participated. The event concluded with refreshment to the participating students besides, students holding 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in the run were awarded with cash prizes.
Moreover, police organised an "Exhibition program" in which the documentaries of valour and courage of police martyrs were displayed on the screen in front of the participants at DPL Kulgam, watched by the students of various schools of the district. Moreover, cultural programme was organised in which various scintillating performances were performed by the students of various schools of district Kulgam. Police extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the participants and concerned school administrations for making the said events successful.
