BANDIPORA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri along with Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Bandipora, Harmeet Sing on Sunday visited various examination centres established for the OMR based examination conducted by J&K Services Selection Recruitment Board for the posts of J&K Police Constable.

During the course of inspection at  various centres in Sumbal, Hajin and Bandipora, the DC took stock of the arrangements made for the aspirants. As many as 5904 candidates were expected to appear in the examination, for which 25 examination centres were established by the district administration across the district.

It was informed that 5355 candidates appeared in the examination in various centres across the district and 549 candidates were absent. The DC, during his visit to the examination centers, expressed satisfaction over the arrangements put in place for the convenience of the aspirants.
