DODA: The Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, today visited OMR-based examination centres to inspect the smooth conduct of exams in the district today. The recruitment examination, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) was held today for the post of Constables in the Home Department in which a total of 8,762 candidates appeared across 42 designated examination centres in Doda district.
During his visit, the DC Doda interacted with Duty Magistrates, Observers, and examination staff, emphasizing the critical role of maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency throughout the examination process. He urged the staff to ensure strict adherence to the guidelines laid out by the JKSSB to guarantee a fair and impartial recruitment drive.
The Deputy Commissioner Doda also reviewed security arrangements at centres to ensure a smooth examination process. Deputy Commissioner Doda further visited the Government District Library Doda, to inspect its facilities and interact with the students utilizing the library's resources. During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner conducted a thorough inspection of the library, assessing its infrastructure and the availability of books and other resources. He interacted with students and Staff present at library and listened to their suggestions and feedback about the facilities.
The students expressed their satisfaction with the library's role in supporting their educational pursuits while sharing ideas for further improvements. The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the newly room for the library. He emphasized the importance of timely completion of the new facility to enhance the library's capacity and provide a more conducive environment for learning and research.
