SAMBA: As part of the ongoing nationwide Mahila Samvad programmes being organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party to create awareness about the Union Budget and its women-centric initiatives, a Mahila Samvad programme was held today at Bari Brahmana.
The programme witnessed the presence of Chander Parkash Ganga, MLA, along with Asha Rani, District President, BJP; Urvashi Gupta, Morcha General Secretary, and Morcha Parliamentary Constituency Incharge; Prerna Nanda, State Vice President, BJP Mahila Morcha; Usha Rajput, State Secretary and Incharge Samba District, BJP Mahila Morcha; Sonia Thakur, State Secretary, BJP Mahila Morcha; DDC Member Shilpa Dubey; and Jai Ram Sharma, BJP State Executive Member.
The programme was organized by Indu Wazir, District President, BJP Mahila Morcha. Addressing the gathering, Chander Parkash Ganga highlighted the Union Government’s unwavering commitment towards women empowerment. He elaborated on key provisions of the Union Budget related to education, health, self-employment, skill development, and social security, stating that the budget reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of inclusive growth.
Asha Rani, District President, BJP, emphasized that Mahila Samvad programmes play a crucial role in connecting women with government policies. She urged women to take full advantage of welfare schemes and actively contribute to organizational and societal growth.
Urvashi Gupta, State General Secretary, BJP Mahila Morcha and Parliamentary Constituency Incharge, spoke in detail about women-centric initiatives in the Union Budget. She stated that the budget aims at making women self-reliant and financially independent and encouraged women to become aware messengers of government schemes at the grassroots level.
Usha Rajput, State Secretary and Incharge Samba District, stressed the importance of spreading awareness about Central Government welfare schemes among women at the grassroots level and ensuring their effective implementation.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Monika Jamwal, while the programme concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Sapna Kumari, Mandal President, BJP Mahila Morcha, Bari Brahmana.
A large number of women participated enthusiastically in the programme. Detailed discussions were held on the Union Budget, and women were motivated to utilize various government schemes for their overall empowerment.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Shakti Devi, Neeru Chib, Ruchi Devi; Anju senior leader Santosh Bhagat; Biaso Devi; Sehna Rajput, and several other Mahila Morcha office bearers and party workers.
