UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai today chaired a meeting with officers of line departments to review the progress of disbursement of compensation for land acquired for National Highway and other developmental projects in the district.
During the meeting, the DC took a detailed assessment of the pending and cleared compensation cases. She directed for ensuring speedy, transparent and timely disbursement of funds to eligible beneficiaries.
Necessary directions were issued to the concerned department to record and verify statements of affected landowners and ensure that all documentation is completed without delay. Emphasis was laid on maintaining accuracy in revenue records and strengthening coordination between departments.
