The keynote speaker, Mr. Anil Gakhar, News Editor of Dainik Jagran and a senior journalist, emphasized that journalism is not a challenging profession, but rather one of total dedication. He suggested that everyone is, in essence, a journalist, as we all engage in informal journalism at the familial level. However, in today’s times, journalism has become more directly linked to employment opportunities.
He highlighted the immense possibilities in the field of journalism, provided that one prepares and qualifies oneself accordingly.
