SRINAGAR: Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar organized an affectionate farewell function to bid adieu to its retiring employees today. The farewell function was attended by Principal/Dean, Prof. Dr. Iffat Hassan; Administrator, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak; Deputy Registrar, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Saleem Yattoo; Medical Superintendent, Dr. Tasneem; CMOs, RMOs, nursing staff, and other dignitaries.
The college honored three dedicated employees who retired on superannuation including Mtr. Saleema Mir, Senior Grade Nurse; Kamal Kishore, Museum Curator; and Ghulam Mohamad Chopan, Multi-Tasking Staff member. The college appreciated their selfless service, dedication, and tireless efforts in their respective roles.
Mtr. Saleema Mir was recognized for her exceptional nursing skills and compassionate care. Kamal Kishore was appreciated for his meticulous maintenance and development of the college's museum. Ghulam Mohamad Chopan was acknowledged for his hard work and commitment to the institution. Additionally, the college also felicitated two employees who retired recently: Javid Ahmad, Estates Officer, and Ms. Dildan, Senior Lab Technician. The college expressed its gratitude for their contributions and wished them a happy and fulfilling post-retirement life.
