SRINAGAR: Gandhi Memorial College continued its long-standing tradition by organizing a service camp for mourners on the eve of the 9th Muharram procession. The event saw active participation from the college's Principal, Prof. Aijaz Ahmad Hakak, faculty members, and National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers.

The service camp primarily focused on providing refreshments to the mourners participating in the Muharram procession. Volunteers distributed juice and water among those observing the solemn occasion.

This initiative underscores Gandhi Memorial College's commitment to community service and interfaith harmony. By engaging in such activities, the college aims to foster stronger connections within the diverse community of Srinagar and promote a sense of social responsibility among its students.
