• Appeals voters to support Apni Party’s contesting candidate Pavneet Kour for Jammu South

JAMMU: Apni Party’s Provincial Vice President, and Former MLA, Faqir Nath Ji today continued his election campaign in favour of the Party’s candidate for Jammu South, Pavneet Kour and sought vote and support from the people.

In one of his addresses during the election campaigns, Former MLA, and Apni Party’s Provincial Vice President, Faqir Nath criticised the authorities for permitting the operations of mining mafia and exploitation of the natural resources in an unaccounted manner that has snatched the bread and butter from the hands of the local youth.

Reacting sharply to the increasing complaints against the mining mafia, he stated that the Party will not ally the mining mafia to operate in Jammu and Kashmir after October 8, 2024 – following the declaration of the legislative assembly results.

“We will throw the mining mafia out of Lakhanpur on October 8, 2024,” he stated in his powerful speech that attracted attention of the people, who extended their support, expressing their anguish over the involvement of the authorities and the police in facilitating the mining and extraction of the minerals by the non-locals, and punishment to the locals and seizure of their load carriers/vehicles/tippers/tractors.

He said that the authorities will be held accountable, and the seized vehicles will be released once the Apni Party forms the Govt in J&K or its MLA gets elected from the said constituency.

“People avoid speaking out the truth fearing action from the authority. However, the Party is committed to speak truth to the powers in any case. We will not tolerate the grab of resources by the outsiders, especially when the unemployment is increasing among the educated youth and they are inclining towards the crime and indulgence to the drug addiction,” he added.

As the circumstances have pushed people to the wall, he reaffirmed his commitment to fighting corruption and promised to cleanse Lakhanpur of the mining mafia, which he said has been exploiting the region for far too long. In his speech, he called on the people of Jammu South to unite in their fight against corruption by supporting Pavneet Kour, the Apni Party’s candidate.

"This is a fight for the common man," he stated, adding that Pavneet Kour is the best option to lead the people of Jammu South into a future free of corruption, where justice and transparency prevail. He expressed confidence that October 8 will mark a significant political shift, under Kour's leadership.

Supporting Nath’s stance were prominent leaders including Bodh Raj Bhagat, SC Wing Coordinator, Aya Singh, former Sarpanch, Balbir Singh, Provincial President Minority Wing, Tirath Singh, Provincial President Transport Union, Yashpal Choudhry, Provincial General Secretary Transport Union, and Inderpal Singh, District President Minority Wing. They all echoed the urgency to rid the region of the mafia and extended full support to Pavneet Kour’s candidacy.

Addressing the gathering, Pavneet Kour reiterated her dedication to the people, promising 500 units of free electricity for every household and a commitment to improving the lives of the common people. She called upon the voters to trust her leadership and work together for a corruption-free, prosperous Jammu South.
