SHOPIAN: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Shopian, Dr. Nasir Ahmed Lone today chaired a comprehensive review meeting at the Conference Hall of the Mini Secretariat Complex, Shopian, to evaluate the progress and implementation of the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) across the district.

The meeting focused on resolving critical field-level bottlenecks, addressing lingering functionality issues within the Power Development Department to ensure seamless, reliable power supply to consumers across District Shopian.

Addressing the meeting, the ADDC emphasized the importance of strict adherence to timelines and quality standards. He directed the executing agencies and contractor firms to expedite ongoing civil and electrical works and ensure smooth inter-departmental coordination to achieve 100% saturation of targets within the stipulated timeframe.

The ADDC emphasized that quality execution and active monitoring are vital for ensuring sustainable and long-term strengthening of the district's power distribution system. Clear instructions were issued to ensure project management authorities complete field evaluations and submit comprehensive status reports before issuing final clearances.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Shopian, Shakoor Ahmed Dar, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Zainapora, Bilal Ahmed, Executive Engineer KPDCL Division Shopian, Mohammed Saleem, AEEs, JEs, and other concerned.
