SHOPIAN: The Department of Horticulture Planning & Marketing Shopian, the Area Marketing Office Shopian today conducted an awareness programme on Post Harvest Management of Horticulture/Agriculture Produce with special focus on Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) at Old Fruit Mandi Arhama, Shopian.

A good gathering of potential individual entrepreneurs of the District participated in the event. Area Marketing Officer (AMO) Shopian along with his field staff attended the Program. AMO Shopian presented an overview and potential scope of the scheme in the district.

The Grading & Marketing Inspector, District Resource Person HADP, shared the entire registration and documentation process with the participants. A good response for various components was received by the participants.  Mohammad Ashraf Lone, a beneficiary for Reefer van, also embraced the efforts being taken by the Department in handholding during the entire process of application.
