NOWSHERA: Reiterating the vital role of the party's various cells in expanding the BJP's outreach across Jammu & Kashmir, J&K BJP Incharge of All Cells, Ved Sharma, said that the party's cells will play a decisive role in further strengthening the organization, particularly in the rural and border areas, while ensuring that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach every deserving citizen.
Ved Sharma made these remarks while conducting a Pravas of District Nowshera, where he chaired a meeting of the district teams of all 20 BJP cells. The meeting was attended by District President Pritam Sharma, J&K Convenor of the Sanskriti, Art & Culture Cell Narinder Singh, along with office bearers and members of various district cells.
Ved Sharma, while addressing the meeting, emphasized that BJP workers associated with different cells must act as a bridge between the government and the people. He urged the district teams to actively assist citizens in accessing the benefits of both Central and UT government welfare schemes. He stressed that many deserving beneficiaries are unable to avail themselves of these schemes due to a lack of awareness or difficulty in completing online application procedures.
"Every cell member should help the needy in filling online applications and completing the required documentation. Unless applications are properly submitted, government departments cannot extend benefits to eligible beneficiaries. Our responsibility is not only to spread awareness but also to ensure that people receive the assistance they deserve," he said.
Ved Sharma also highlighted the major developmental initiatives and public welfare projects undertaken by the Narendra Modi-led Central Government in Jammu & Kashmir. He said that these initiatives have transformed the developmental landscape of the Union Territory and have benefited every section of society. He appreciated the district teams for working with dedication and sincerity in taking the party's programmes and public welfare initiatives to the grassroots level.
Pritam Sharma welcomed the participants and reaffirmed that the district unit, along with all cells, morchas and the main organizational team, would continue to work collectively to strengthen the BJP at every level in Nowshera and enhance its public outreach.
Narinder Singh reviewed the activities and progress of the district unit of his cell and encouraged members to further expand their outreach through cultural and social initiatives. The programme was conducted by Sukhdev Singh, Mandal President, Sunderbani.
Among those present were Bal Krishan, Parkash Chand, Kasturi Lal, Anuradha Gupta, Swarn Singh, Zorabar Singh, Pushibender Kumar, Mool Raj, Rajinder Gupta, Rattan Lal, and other senior party workers and cell functionaries.
