BARAMULLA: As part of its sustained efforts to maintain peace, public order, and security in the district, Police in Baramulla conducted search operations at the residential houses of Jammu & Kashmir living in Pakistan (POK), their family residences, and other closely associated premises in the village of Bagna Bijhama in Uri Sub-Division.

The searches were carried out strictly in accordance with due legal procedure. The operations were conducted in a professional and orderly manner, with due regard to legal safeguards. No incriminating material was recovered during the searches.

These search operations form part of J&K Police's ongoing efforts to prevent unlawful activities, maintain a secure environment, and ensure that all necessary preventive measures are taken in the interest of public safety. The cooperation extended by local residents during the operation is sincerely appreciated.

J&K Police remains committed to upholding the rule of law and will continue to take lawful and proactive measures to preserve peace, maintain public confidence, and safeguard the security of the district.
