In loving memory of Dr. Priya Ranjan: A mentor who treated me like family

POONCH: Under the SVEEP (Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation) initiative, renowned cocoon artist Dr. Rubia Bukhari, through her "Cocoon Artistry Initiative," has called on the people especially youth of Jammu and Kashmir to actively participate in the ongoing three-phase assembly elections. The final phase of polling is scheduled to be held on October 1st, 2024.

In a video posted by the Chief Electoral Officer of Jammu and Kashmir on official social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, Dr. Rubia Bukhari was seen encouraging the people of Jammu and Kashmir to recognize the power of their vote. Using her unique cocoon artistry, Dr. Bukhari illustrated the importance of voting through her intricate cocoon flakes artwork.
