Leveling serious allegations against NC leaders, ex-party worker and Chairperson of an NGO namely Jammu and Kashmir Haba Khatoon Foundation has reportedly said many things which can’t be disagreed and ruled out like as she said that a particular former NC Minister in league with a top leader exploited innocent and poor women sexually from past a decade and she too was victimized when she raised voice against those alleged flesh thirsty politicians.
Other allegation she leveled that funding to her NGO was stopped on the behest of a former Kashmir based Union Minister, on the pretext that the programs and camps her NGO organized were termed fake and fictitious, can also be agreed to some extent.
Her serious claim that some politicians encourage sex trade in Kashmir and there are already numbers of prostitution centers that have been commercialized, can’t be disagreed, keeping in view the past incidents that rocked Kashmir in the past with protests.
Analyzing the reports by some Kashmir based news agencies and social media reports being circulate, the only point that can’t be digested and agreed is she during her series of allegation said that ‘commercialized Prostitution centers’ in Kashmir were approved by the previous Coalition Government.
The questions here arise, how any government can approve a prostitution centre especially in sensitive Kashmir? The allegations need to be probed impartially and those records searched out, which can confirm that these, if any, ‘Prostitution Centers’ were approved by the previous Govt.
This is not just about leveling allegations, the issue has quantum of putting the entire Kashmir Valley on fire of protests again and violate the peace. No doubt, many can make it an issue and fuel to play with sentiments of Kashmiris but the people should play sensible and take lessons from the past experiences. Let the law and judiciary act impartial and fast. Don’t allow the Kashmir simmer again. Don’t mar the exams of children.
