AWANTIPORA: The Centre for Career Counselling and Placements (3CP@IUST), in collaboration with the Department of Management Studies, organised a Capacity Building Workshop for students of MBA 1st Semester on September 8, 2026, at the Business Lab of the Department of Management Studies.

The workshop featured Mr. Suhail Arif Bhat, Brand Consultant, Deloitte, as the expert speaker. The session provided students with valuable insights into career pathways in consulting and beyond, focusing on industry expectations, essential professional skills, career planning, and emerging opportunities in the corporate sector.

The interactive session enabled students to gain a better understanding of the competencies required to navigate competitive career landscapes and make informed career choices.

The programme was attended by Prof. Parvez Ahmad Mir, Dean, School of Business Studies; Dr. Amir Dar, Head, Centre for Career Counselling and Placements (3CP@IUST), and Dr. Asif Naqshbandi, Head, Department of Management Studies, along with faculty members and MBA students.

The workshop underscores the University's commitment to enhancing student employability and strengthening academia–industry linkages by facilitating meaningful interaction with industry professionals and exposing students to contemporary career opportunities.
