SAMBA: Rich Harvest School celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi and Hindi Diwas on 14th September in a vibrant and meaningful Special Assembly, bringing together the spirit of devotion, cultural heritage and pride in the Hindi language.
The celebration commenced with a special prayer and invocation of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the symbol of wisdom, prosperity and auspicious beginnings. Students presented a beautifully coordinated programme highlighting the significance of Ganesh Chaturthi and conveying the timeless message of faith, humility and devotion.
Adding a literary and cultural dimension to the assembly, Hindi Diwas was celebrated with equal enthusiasm. Students highlighted the richness, beauty and importance of the Hindi language through poetry, speeches, thought-provoking presentations and cultural performances. The programme emphasised the role of Hindi in preserving India's cultural identity and strengthening the bond of unity among its people.
The assembly provided students with an opportunity to appreciate both India's spiritual traditions and its linguistic heritage. The performances reflected the students' confidence, creativity and deep respect for the country's diverse cultural traditions.
The Head of Institute, Ms Anita Bhatia, appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers in presenting such a well-integrated programme. She encouraged the students to remain connected with India's rich cultural heritage while embracing the values of knowledge, harmony and respect for all languages and traditions.
