AWANTIPORA: A cyber awareness programme was conducted at Government Higher Secondary School Gulzarpora by Police Awantipora. During the programme, students and staff were sensitized about various cyber threats including online frauds, social media misuse, identity theft, and cyberbullying. The participants were educated on safe internet practices, the importance of strong passwords, and safeguarding personal information online.
The team also highlighted the need to remain vigilant while using digital platforms and advised students to report any suspicious online activity to the nearest police station. The programme witnessed active participation from students and faculty, who appreciated the initiative and pledged to use the internet responsibly and spread awareness among others.
