SAMBA: In preparation for the upcoming Navratri and Dussehra festivals, Deputy Commissioner Samba, Rajesh Sharma, today chaired a high-level meeting with all key stakeholders to review arrangements for these holy festivals. The meeting was attended by SSP, Vijay Sharma; ADC, Jagdish Singh; ACD, CMO, XENs, Tourist Officer and other district officers. Representatives from religious organizations were also present in the meeting.
During the meeting, the representatives of religious organizations highlighted key concerns related to influx of devotees expected during the festivals. In response to these concerns, Deputy Commissioner issued clear directives to all concerned departments to address these issues well in time.
The DC stressed on the importance of interdepartmental coordination to ensure that all arrangements are completed in a timely manner. âOur priority is the safety, convenience, and comfort of devotees. It is essential that all departments work in synergy to create a joyous and peaceful environment for the celebrations,â he stated.
