SRINAGAR: The Private Schools Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK), District Srinagar, President Bilal Ahmad, extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Hon’ble Health And Education Minister, Mrs. Sakeena Itoo Ji, for her decisive and timely intervention in ensuring justice for the Class 10th students of a local private school. This proactive decision showcases the government’s dedication to student welfare and its commitment to maintaining the integrity of the education sector in Jammu and Kashmir.
The PSAJK District executive Body, along with Zonal Heads, and general members acknowledges and welcomes this bold move, which has brought much-needed relief to students and parents. "While we acknowledge the government’s progressive stance, we urge the administration to address other pressing concerns in the private education sector, including streamlining the school registration and recognition process to prevent further delays; establishing a single-window system for obtaining necessary No Objection Certificates (NOCs); and providing long-term registration for operational schools to ensure stability, among other critical issues."Private schools in Jammu and Kashmir play a vital role in providing affordable, high-quality education, especially to economically weaker sections of society.
Additionally, they generate employment opportunities for thousands of youth across the region.
