DODA: A counselling and awareness programme on mental health and well-being was organised today at PM SHRI Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Khellani by the Counselling Team of Samagra Shiksha.

The programme aimed to promote emotional well-being, positive mental health and a supportive school environment among students. The session was led by Clinical Counsellor Dr. Qubra, under the supervision of the School Principal Nazia Munshi.

During the interactive session, students were sensitised to mental health, emotional balance, stress management, positive thinking, healthy relationships and the importance of seeking timely support. The counsellors encouraged students to communicate their concerns openly and highlighted that seeking professional support is a positive and responsible step towards maintaining good mental health.

The counselling team also conducted individual case studies and one-to-one counselling sessions for students requiring personalised attention. The sessions provided a safe, confidential and supportive environment for students to discuss their concerns and receive appropriate guidance.
