DODA: As part of the National Road Safety Month 2025, the Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) Doda, in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) and the National Service Scheme (NSS), organized a special awareness rally to promote safe and responsible driving. The rally commenced from the ARTO Office and concluded at Khan Plaza, with enthusiastic participation from students, volunteers, and stakeholders.
The event was held under the directions of the Transport Commissioner, Vishesh Paul Mahajan, and Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, and was supervised by ARTO Rajesh Gupta. Participants were educated about the significance of adhering to traffic rules to ensure road safety. They were informed about measures to minimize accidents, including disciplined driving practices, avoiding over-speeding, and the importance of wearing helmets and seat belts.
During the rally, drivers, conductors, and the general public were encouraged to adopt road safety as a lifestyle to protect lives and prevent injuries. The initiative aimed to foster a sense of responsibility among road users, with a focus on reducing road accidents and saving precious lives.
