BARAMULLA: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, chaired a meeting today to review the progress of the Aspirational District programme. During the meeting, DDC directed the concerned officers to submit the leftover Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for the Rs.3.18 crore allocation approved by NITI Aayog.
The meeting also focused on the review of physical and financial progress of previous projects under the programme. DDC emphasized the need to complete projects on time and ensure the effective utilization of resources.
Additionally, the review included discussions on the saturation of balance indicators in the district. Sherpa stressed the importance of prioritizing the completion of remaining targets to achieve the goals of the Aspirational District Programme. DDC called on all officers to work collaboratively to overcome challenges and accelerate the implementation of projects to ensure Baramulla's sustained development under the programme.
