- Peer Bilal demands construction of community hall, School and play ground on the land
HAZRATBAL: Peer Bilal, President Central Kashmir DPAP has demanded immediate cancellation of auction notice for 32 kanals of Custodianland at Fazlulhaq Colony Batpora Hazratbal. I"It's shocking to hear that the government has auctioned off 32 canals of prime land at Fazlulhaq Colony Batpora Hazratbal for lease, allegedly due to vested interests. This land has been lying vacant for an astonishing 70 years, and it's high time it's utilized for the benefit of the community." Peer Bilal said.
Peer said, "Considering the location and availability of the land, it would be fantastic to see it transformed into a *playground*, where children can play and exercise, or a *health center*, providing essential medical services to the local residents. Alternatively, a *community hall* would be an excellent option, serving as a hub for social events, cultural activities, and community gatherings".
Peer added that this land has been vacant for so long highlights the need for responsible and community-focused development. By allocating this land for public use, the government can demonstrate its commitment to the well-being and quality of life of its citizens. It's essential to ensure that the interests of the community are prioritized over those of vested groups, and that the land is utilized in a way that benefits the greatest number of people.
