JAMMU: A zonal-level meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) was convened today at Jourian, Zone Jourian, District Jammu, to constitute a new zonal body and strengthen organizational coordination among teachers. The meeting was held under the esteemed presidentship of Sh. Rakesh Sharma, State Executive Member, and Pawan Sharma, District President, with the special efforts of Sh. Ved Parkash Sharma, District General Secretary, and Sh. Tarsem Lal, District Media Prabhari.
During the meeting, Kuldeep Kumar was unanimously appointed as the new Zonal President of Zone Jourian. The assembly also engaged in in-depth discussions regarding various welfare issues concerning the teaching fraternity and resolved to further the cause of educational and professional betterment of teachers in the region.
Several prominent figures from the teaching community and ABRSM attended the meeting, including Rajinder Singh, Senior Vice President District Jammu; Jeet Raj, District Executive Member; Bali Ram, Secretary Zone Akhnoor; Tarseem Kumar; and Kuldeep Raj. The newly announced zonal team includes Tirath Ram as Senior Vice President, Surinder Kumar as Vice President, Sukhdev Ji as General Secretary, Mohan Lal as Media Prabhari, Shinda Kumar as Cashier, and Khem Raj as Secretary.
Other notable members who marked their presence and extended their support include Roshan Bral, Sudesh Kumar, Yash Paul, Raj Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Satish Sharma, and Viney Kumar. The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to work in unity for the rights and welfare of teachers and to further strengthen the organizational structure of ABRSM at the grassroots level.
