• Emphasizes seamless coordination and round-the-clock services for smooth pilgrimage experience

BANDIPORA: In view of the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY) 2025, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, on Saturday visited the Transit Yatra Camp at Shadipora to review the arrangements and assess the facilities available for the Yatris.

During the visit, DC conducted an extensive inspection of the camp infrastructure and took stock of key services including accommodation, sanitation, potable water, electricity, medical facilities, and security measures. 

He emphasized the need to ensure 24x7 availability of these services while maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. On the occasion, DC also chaired a review meeting with officers of various departments. The concerned officers apprised him that all requisite arrangements have already been put in place to facilitate a smooth and comfortable stay for the pilgrims. 

Qadri stressed the importance of close inter-departmental coordination and timely execution of pending works, if any, to ensure the successful conduct of the annual pilgrimage.

DC was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Zaffar Husson Shawl; Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sumbal, officers from J&K Police, and other concerned officers.
