RAMBAN: The District Administration Ramban today virtually joined the UT-wide launch of the Mission Yuva programme, an ambitious initiative spearheaded by the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, aimed at strengthening job opportunities for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir through sustainable self-employment ventures.

The virtual launch event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, along with Additional Deputy Commissioner Varunjeet Singh Charak, Joint Director Employment S. Parmjeet Singh, and other senior officers from various departments. A large number of aspiring entrepreneurs, Yuva Doots, unemployed youth, and other concerned officials also participated in the programme at the district headquarters.

The event featured a live screening of the inaugural ceremony led by the Chief Minister, during which the vision and objectives of Mission Yuva were explained in detail. The District Administration also encouraged the youth to proactively come forward, register under Mission Yuva, and avail themselves of the benefits, including financial support, capacity building, and mentorship for various entrepreneurial ventures.

The District Administration also issued an appeal to the unemployed youth of Ramban district to take full advantage of this golden opportunity by enrolling themselves under the scheme and turning their entrepreneurial aspirations into reality. Similar programmes were also organised at Gool and other parts of the district.
