REASI: The District Administration Reasi participated virtually in the formal launch of Mission YUVA, a pioneering youth-centric initiative aimed at empowering and engaging young entrepreneurs across Jammu and Kashmir. The state-wide initiative was launched today by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah from the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC), Srinagar.

The virtual participation from Reasi took place at the Video Conference Hall, DC Office Reasi with esteemed gathering included District Development Council (DDC) Chairman Saraf Singh Nag, Member Legislative Assembly SMVD Baldev Raj Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Nidhi Malik, ADDC Sukhdev Singh Samyal, AD Employment Annie Vaid. A number of budding and successful entrepreneurs from various parts of the district were also present on the occasion.

Following the launch, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with local entrepreneurs enrolled under Mission YUVA. She engaged with them on their ideas, business ventures and future plans expressing admiration for their drive and innovation encouraging them to avail maximum benefit being provided under the Mission YUVA umbrella.

The DC also highlighted the role of successful entrepreneurs as icons under the mission, who will inspire and mentor others in their communities, thus building a robust ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship in Reasi and beyond.

She further added that Mission YUVA is envisioned as a transformative step towards youth empowerment through capacity building, financial assistance, mentorship and visibility—fostering a new wave of job creators across Jammu and Kashmir.
