• DC felicitates leading entrepreneurs

RAJOURI: The Government of Jammu & Kashmir today launched Mission YUVA, a transformative initiative aimed at empowering the youth through entrepreneurship, skill development, and innovation. The Chief Minister of J&K virtually launched the mission in the presence of top government functionaries, youth representatives and stakeholders across the Union Territory.

In Rajouri, the virtual launch event was hosted at the DC Office Complex where leading entrepreneurs, Yuva Doots and the general public participated enthusiastically. The event was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, who interacted with the participants and encouraged them to make full use of the opportunities being provided under Mission YUVA.

On the occasion, the DC distributed appreciation certificates to leading entrepreneurs of the district in recognition of their outstanding contributions to local economic development, innovation and youth empowerment. He lauded their spirit and called them role models for aspiring youth.

The Deputy Commissioner said that Mission YUVA will provide a strong institutional framework to nurture youth-led enterprises and drive inclusive development. He further highlighted that the initiative will link youth with resources, mentors, markets and skill-building avenues, thus creating a conducive ecosystem for self-reliance and job creation.

District officers from various departments, members of the business community and youth icons from the region also attended the event. The participants expressed gratitude to the UT administration for launching such a visionary initiative and pledged their support in taking the mission forward at the grassroots level.
