JAMMU: The Animal Husbandry Department Jammu marks the World Rabies prevention Day, 2025 today with a series of events and awareness campaigns organized across all the districts of Jammu division, under this year’s theme: “Act Now-You, Me, Community”. The observance aimed to highlight the urgent need for collective action in the fight against Rabies-a 100 percent preventable, yet fatal disease.

On the occasion, the department organized a free dog vaccination camp at Central Veterinary Hospital, Talab Tillo, Jammu for both pets as well as stray dogs aimed at breaking the transmission chain of the viral disease.
