KUPWARA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of land acquisition for construction/ improvement of newly declared NH701 Rafiabad-Kupwara-Chowkibal-Tangdar-Chamkote (RKCTC) Road. Speaking at the occasion, the DC stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure completion of all codal formalities involved under the land acquisition process as early as possible so that the construction of the National Highway project is not delayed in the district.

She directed Tehsildars of Langate, Handwara, Drugmulla to submit the details involved in the 3G section of the RKCTC road project in their respective jurisdictions by today evening. Besides, Tehsildars Drugmulla, Kupwara and Trehgam were also asked to submit the details under the 3D section of the road project by today itself. ACR Kupwara, Executive Engineers of R&B Division Kupwara & Handwara, CHO, Tehsildars, Beacon officer and other concerned attended the meeting.
