JAMMU: BJP National General secretary Tarun Chugh today said that during the tenure of the Modi government, employment generation has touched new heights. Talking to media persons he said the figures released by the RBI have strongly debunked the false and misleading propaganda of the Opposition parties as the rate of employment generation has nearly doubled during the last two years.
At a time when the economy of many other countries has been struggling to fight the crisis, the Modi government has in fact excelled in keeping the pace of growth above average. Quoting the RBI figures Chugh said during the last financial year 2023-24 more than 4.7 crore jobs were created giving a new boost to the economy.
This, he said, registered a six percent growth in employment generation which is almost double the rate of the preceding financial year. Much against the malicious propaganda by the Opposition parties, Chugh said, the youth in the country is infused with new enthusiasm and optimism under the Modi government's rule. This is reflected in the industry as well as in the service sectors where the growth has been phenomenal.
